I was born in Prague, Czech Republic and I've lived in Toronto, Edmonton, Montreal and Vancouver. In 2005 I was awarded the national first prize of Best Graduating Artist in Canada by the Bank of Montreal's 1st Art Competition. The winning piece is in the BMO (Bank of Montreal) collection in Toronto. You can see the entire series in high resolution on this site.
The insider is permanently corrupted; “drowning in comfort and suffocating in security” as Jean Tinguely once said.I started making photographs in a small darkroom where I was immediately interested in creating composite images and experimenting with chemistry when I was fifteen years old.
I operate a small studio called 23 Art Factory specializing in custom documentation and archiving of architecture, artwork and art exhibitions.
