Meta Kit （メタキット）

Meta Kit posters come from a series of panoramas from the Metamorphosis series photographed mostly on the west side of Shiga, Japan. The original panoramas are 360 by 180 degrees made for large format printing and these scaled down versions are re-projected in the same way a world map is turned into a globe. The two shapes here are the dodecahedron, a 12-sided platonic solid and a 26-sided shape where each face is a continuation of an adjacent face.
メタキットのポスターは主に滋賀県湖西地域で撮影した「メタモルフォーゼ」パノラマシリーズの写真を使っています。高解像の印刷が可能な360 x 180度の球体として構成された作品の小さなバージョンです。世界地図の展開図と同じ投影法を使用しています。2つのタイプの形は、それぞれ12面体と26面体になります。

These poster files are free to use for students, I’m putting these here during the school closures in Japan and other countries. Feel free to print them at home, cut them out and build the shapes.
