The collapse of the BC Place roof on January 5, 2007

BC Place is on the very left side of the frame. You can see the roof begin to slack before it is suddenly inflated to a very large size. This is when the roof suddenly deflated. It was a controlled deflation according to the stadium officials.

The time of the image is recorded on the lower left corner of the video frame. It was taken with a video camera recording at 0.03 frames per second, which leads to about 2.5 frames each minute.
